Record Store Day isn’t all about special releases. We also like to use the day as an excuse to throw a big party and hang out with everyone that helps make the record store successful. This year is no different.
We’ve teamed up with some local buddies to help us celebrate throughout the day:
– Brad Hayden’s BBQ Smoke Shop will be set up out front serving tasty meats for lunch
– Heartbreak Coffee will be serving cold and hot brew and selling small-batch roasted beans starting at 8 a.m. (buy one of our new coffee mugs and your first cup of coffee is on us!)
– Fat Possum Records will be setting up their inaugural “Factory Outlet Tent” where you can score great records at a deep discount starting a 9 a.m. (yup, that’s one hour before we open!)
– Last but not least, we’ll be hosting live music from some of Muscle Beach’s top acts all afternoon long (live music schedule here).
Heartbreak Coffee is a small batch, specialty coffee roaster based out of Oxford, MS. Their focus is on the entire coffee process, from seed to cup, ensuring its always an excellent tasting cup of coffee coupled with friendly service.

Brad smokes some of the best chicken, ribs, and brisket around. His food is literally to die for. We’re not even going to eat breakfast on Record Store Day so we can stuff our faces with the good stuff come lunchtime.
