The holidays are weird this year. Supply chain this, supply chain that. The record store has even experienced crazy problems with stocking turntables (buy one ASAP!) and some records, but FEAR NOT! We’ve got plenty of amazing titles in stock RIGHT NOW!
So we encourage you to SHOP LOCAL this holiday season.
Buy some gift certificates.
Most importantly, just swing by the shop and chat with us, see what we have in stock, and I bet you’ll be all set.
Here are a few things we think everyone would dig…
★ A subscription to our RECORD OF THE MONTH CLUB.
It’s the gift that keeps on giving all year long. We offer 3-month, 6-month, yearly, or monthly subscriptions. We tend to pick records that any music lover would enjoy. Check out what we’ve picked in the past. You can sign anyone up…even yourself!
Each month we’ll ship out a record to your door OR if you live in Oxford or Jackson you can swing by and pick up your record each month at either of our record stores with no shipping charge.
★ “WE PICK EM”
Send us your budget. Tell us about the person you’re buying for–likes and dislikes musically–and we’ll take it from there!
We’ll pick out the good stuff, write them a personalized letter explaining the picks, box it up nicely with some extra goodies, and ship it out.*
We literally take care of everything.
★ Just get ’em a GIFT CERTIFICATE!
Let ’em get what they want. It takes the pressure off everyone.
You can call the Oxford store (662-281-1909), purchase a gift certificate over the phone, and we can slap a stamp on it and mail it wherever OR we can hold it at the shop to be picked up. Same goes for our Fondren location.
Gift Certificates fit in stockings nicely 😉

★ End of All Music merch!
We’ve got sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags, hats, shot glasses, turntable slipmats, “spice” grinders, and lots more.
For the best assortment we encourage you to come by either the Oxford or Jackson shop BUT you can also shop online and have it shipped anywhere*
★ VINYL BOX SETS
2021 has been quite a year for box sets. We’ve got plenty in stock like the beautiful Let It Be deluxe set from The Beatles, George Harrison’s 8-LP All Things Must Pass set, an insane 9-CD box from Smithsonian Folkways on the History of Hip Hop, the Atlantic years set from Curtis Mayfield, Radiohead’s new 3-LP set KID A MNESIA, LCD Soundsystem’s final show at Madison Square Garden, Bob Dylan’s Bootleg Series releases, The Grateful Dead’s Europe ’72 on high quality 180 gram vinyl, and lots more.
See some in our online shop OR swing by the store for the complete experience.
★ Holiday Tunes on Vinyl
Classic Charlie Brown Christmas or Sharon Jones’ holiday soul? We’ve got Elvis’s Christmas album and Mr. Hanky’s from South Park plus lots more…
★ Jazz Records
New John Coltrane releases (like the recently unearthed live album of A Love Supreme), Blue Note reissues, avant-garde free and spiritual jazz… we stock it all.
★ Blues Records
Kingfish has a new one out pressed on limited, purple vinyl, The Black Keys covered some North Mississippi Hill Country classics on their latest album Delta Kream, Fat Possum has plenty of classic Hill Country blue releases as well as their first new solo blues act in nearly 20 years–Buffalo Nichols, and there’s always the Hospitality State of Mind compilation we lovingly released earlier this year.
Let us take you to the BLUES SECTION.
★ Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and all the pop hits…
★ Turntables and Speakers
Disclaimer: Turntables are going to be a hot commodity this holiday season… just like last year. The supply-chain issues due to the pandemic have made it really hard to keep turntables in stock. We currently have a nice batch of turntables from Audio Technica and Music Hall, but these will sell out. We encourage you to snag one now before they become really scarce.
★ Staff Picks
We listen to a lot of records…so trust us 🙂
Shop the STAFF PICKS section online or in the shop.
* we cannot guarantee shipping times during the holidays. We’ll try our best but we encourage customers use FedEx or USPS Priority, although even these two options can take longer than normal during the holidays.
