The End of All Music continues its 10th anniversary celebration with a very special event this spring.

The End of All Music and Wonderbird Spirits present a MusiCares benefit concert with a performance by Matt Sweeney and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy as Superwolves with Emmett Kelly. 

When: Sunday, May 1st at 3 p.m. (GATES OPEN AT 2 p.m.)

Where: Wonderbird Spirits gin distillery in Taylor, Mississippi 

Lineup: SUPERWOLVES, David “Fergie” Ferguson, Dionisaf

We’re pleased to announce a joint event to benefit MusiCares on May Day with our pals at Wonderbird Spirits.

Drag City Records recording artists, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy & Matt Sweeney as  “SUPERWOLVES” with Emmett Kelly, will headline the evening. Nashville legend David “Fergie” Ferguson will be playing an opening set starting around 4 p.m. Local Oxford sound artist, Dionisaf, will provide an ambient soundscape starting at 3 p.m.

We encourage patrons to come early for food and drinks, enjoy the distillery, hang out, and settle in for a great afternoon of music.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to MusiCares. More info on MusiCares below or head to their website.

Wonderbird Spirits is a grain-to-glass gin distillery located right outside of Oxford, MS. They ferment Mississippi Delta rice to make the base spirit using an adapted sake approach. The distillery is the recipient of multiple gold medals from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition as well as the overall winner of the 2021 Garden & Gun Made in the South Awards.

This event is outdoors. Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs and plan accordingly. 

No coolers are allowed at this event. Beer will be for sale on the premises for anyone over 21 years old. Wonderbird will be selling a special Superwolves cocktail for the event as well as full bar service inside the distillery. Proceeds from the bar will be donated to MusiCares as well.

This event is kid friendlyYou do not need a ticket for anyone under the age of 12. 

Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times.

Parking is limited so please carpool or use a rideshare service. Don’t drink and drive.

Our pals at Grapefruit, from Water Valley, MS, will be on site selling their hand-dyed clothes and goods.

If rain is a possibility this event will be moved to The Lyric Theater in downtown Oxford. Please check with The End of All Music the week of the show for any rain contingency plans.

MusiCares has awarded Joni Mitchell as its 2022 Person of the Year. The award recognizes Joni’s artistic and philanthropic accomplishments. This honor has previously been given to Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney, and many others.
