Leon Bridges’s much talked about and anticipated debut LP, Coming Home, is out on June 23. Leon’s music takes us back to 60s soul classics like Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Wilson Picket, and Al Green. The record–produced by the folks in White Denim–is reminiscent of the prime soul era from which put Memphis on the map. We saw Leon perform in Tupelo, MS some months ago to a small crowd and it blew our minds. It was a rare occasion to witness greatness in the making. This record is going to garner him a much wider audience and for good reason. It’s a classic soul record in a time where that’s just what we need.

Coming Home is also our June pick in our Record of the Month Club.  Subscribers will not only get a copy of the vinyl record but they’ll also receive a promo poster featuring the cover artwork as well as one of our new red & white can koozies.
