We’re running a little late with the ROTM Club update this month… mainly because we’ve been waiting patiently on the record label to confirm everything. We’ve finally cleared it up but unfortunately the record has been delayed a week. It was intended to ship out just before Halloween but now it’ll ship in early November. SO! That means you’ll be getting two records in November. We’re really sorry for the delay but the pandemic strikes again! as vinyl pressing plants are still playing catch up.
The October record is the 50th Anniversary all-analog remaster of David Crosby’s excellent, debut solo album, If I Could Only Remember My Name. Recorded in 1970 after the passing of his girlfriend Christine and released in February of 1971, the album explores themes including loss and disorientation. The album features a who’s who of contributors from the San Francisco Bay area including Paul Kantner and Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane, Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, and Santana, and his cohort from Los Angeles including Graham Nash, Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell.
Club Members will be getting a copy of the 50th anniversary remastered version of the album pressed on 180g vinyl.
